North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) provides free parenting courses for adults ages 18+ including parents, family members, and others who provide care for children, or serve children in their professional roles.

You will be surprised at the variety of classes that are offered online, at NOCE sites, and at locations throughout northern Orange County. The wide range of course topics address the needs of parents whose children are any age, from pre-birth to adulthood.

Classes are available in person, online, and in hybrid formats. Online classes are asynchronous, which means students study weekly at times and places convenient to them (no required meetings at certain times). Hybrid courses give the best of both worlds, in which students meet in person weekly with their professor and classmates and complete other learning activities online.

NOCE Parenting Program classes are within these three categories:

Parents can enjoy time bonding with their child(ren) with our classes. Courses such as Joyful Parenting and Developmental Movement encourage activities together that celebrate music, movement, and creativity.

I admit that I only enrolled in the NOCE Parenting with Love and Logic® classes because my son’s teacher offered extra credit for students who got their parents to attend. However, I genuinely digested the parenting tools taught in class; it was life-changing. I use the skills I have acquired and I am more confident in my abilities as a parent. Eric Johnson
