NOCE students can participate in the 2025 Commencement and Student Success Ceremony if they complete their requirements in specific academic programs from July 2024 to May 2025.


Career Technical Education, DSS Transition, GED/High School

Students must meet with a Counselor by April 25, 2025. Schedule your appointment today at (714) 808-4682 or counseling@noce.edu. DSS Transition students will complete their grad check during their transition appointment with a DSS counselor.

Students who completed their requirements in these programs between July 2024 and May 2025 will receive an invitation to the event from their corresponding department. No counselor appointment is needed.

Student Success Awards

Students from all instructional programs – including Basic Skills/High School Diploma, Career Technical Education, Disability Support Services, Emeritus, English as a Second Language/Citizenship, and Parenting – who have been nominated by their NOCE instructor and selected to receive a Student Success Award will also be honored at the event.

  • What If I Don’t Complete My Requirements by the Grad Check Deadline?

     

    High School Diploma Program Students

    • For High School Diploma Program students, all program requirements MUST be completed by the grad check deadline at 4 p.m. to participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
    • NOTE: Students enrolled in the ABED courses are welcome to attend if they are making progress toward successfully completing that course(s) by the end of the 2025 Spring Semester.
    • High School Diploma Program students who complete their coursework after the grad check deadline can graduate at any time during the next academic year. Those students will be invited to participate in the next NOCE Commencement.

    Career Technical Education Students

    • To be considered a 2025 graduate, all Career Technical Education (CTE) Program requirements must be completed or in progress by the end of the 2025 Spring Semester. CTE students MUST complete the grad check by the 4 p.m. deadline.
  • No Balloons or Noisemakers

    We are all very proud of the graduating class of 2025. Because every family deserves the opportunity to see their graduate and hear their name being called, please do not bring balloons or noisemakers into the ceremony/auditorium. Thank you for your courtesy and respect for all graduates.

    No drinks or food are allowed inside the auditorium.

    • To participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony, students MUST see a counselor to complete a Grad Check Request Form by the Date to Be Announced (Check Back Soon!)
    • To make an appointment with a counselor to review your Student Education Plan, confirm you have completed all requirements, fill out the form, and gather additional details, contact the Counseling Department at (714) 808-4682 or counseling@noce.edu.
    • *For students in the DSS Program, make an appointment with a counselor to review your Student Education Plan, confirm you have completed all requirements, fill out the form, and gather additional details by calling the DSS Program at (714) 808-4719 or by emailing disabilitysupport@noce.edu.

  • Photography Information

    IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a public ceremony, and North Orange Continuing Education will be taking photos for promotional purposes, which may be used in, but not limited to, the following manner: brochures, class schedules, website, social media, etc. Through your attendance at this event, you may be photographed/filmed. By participating in this event, you understand that NOCE may utilize your image for the purpose of bringing its programs to the attention of the public. If you do not want your photo taken, please inform the photographer or a staff member. 

    There will not be a livestream or videos for sale for the 2025 events.

    Students are also encouraged to take graduation photos in their homes and share photos from the ceremony with us by tagging our NOCE social media pages and using the #NOCEGrad2025

  • Guest Information

    No tickets are required, and there is no limit to the number of guests at this event.

The online order deadline has not been announced. Please check back soon for updates. Gowns must be picked up by the end of the day. To make a cash purchase, please contact administrativeservices@noce.edu.
