What is Fresh Success at NOCE?

Fresh Success is a program at NOCE that helps students who get CalFresh benefits, which are food assistance benefits. The program is optional and is designed to help students stay in school and achieve their career and education goals. It does this by providing additional support, such as assistance with purchasing books, securing transportation, and covering other school costs.
Fresh Success is an employment and training program that provides students with essential education and skills to secure better jobs and become financially independent. This program is available because NOCE works with the California Community Colleges Foundation’s Fresh Success program, which is part of the statewide CalFresh Employment & Training initiative.
