Virtual & In-Person Career Skills and Resource Lab Workshops
How do I develop 21st Century Skills? Each month, NOCE will host workshops focused on 21st-century career readiness and workplace success skills. 21st-century Skills are career readiness and workplace success skills necessary to gain and maintain employment and advance in a career. These skills include knowledge, work habits, and character traits employers look for and find valuable in the workplace.
21st-Century Workshop Topic for the Month of June: Social Diversity Awareness
All workshops will be held virtually through Zoom. Students who register for virtual workshops will receive an e-mail with Zoom meeting details the evening before the workshop.

These workshops are designed to allow students to develop professional relationships, acquire new ideas, improve skills, and provide current and relevant job market information to those looking for employment.
Zoom and Canvas Assistance is Available Throughout the Summer Session
- Zoom Conference is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that can be used for video conferencing meetings, webinars, audio conferencing, etc.
- Canvas is a Learning Management System. This system allows students to access online courses, submit assignments, participate in discussions, view grades and course materials.
- Please stop by the lab, room 606 (6th floor) if you need Zoom or Canvas assistance.
